Bionomics

Type habitat: ? A zoophilic species from desert regions of South Xinjiang (Xiong et al., 1970)

Medical Importance

suspected vector of visceral leishmaniasis (probably L. infantum) in Kazakhstan and of L. gerbilli in China (Dergacheva, 1979; Killick-Kendrick, 1990).
